Temporary Buttons are a game mechanic in the Monument Valley games. They are activated like normal Buttons, but their effect is reversed again if stepped off. In other words, you must stay on them for their effect to be in place. Sometimes there are more than one that must be activated by two characters, but the other ones cannot step off.
