Monument Valley is an adventure puzzle game by Ustwo Studios following Ida, a princess on a quest to return the Sacred Geometry that she had stolen. It involves manipulating the environment to create paths and find ways through the levels, or chapters.
Story[]
A long time ago, Ida was the princess of the Crow People. She decided to steal the Sacred Geometry from around the world, but without it, all of the people died. Ida was cursed to turn into a human, and the colorful Crows were cursed to be bleak, colorless, and bothersome to Ida.
Ida decided to return the geometry and embarks on a quest for forgiveness (the events of the game). In each level, she returns another piece of geometry. She also meets the mysterious Storyteller, believed to be one of the dead people returned as a ghost to give Ida insight and forgive her once she had returned everything.
At the end of the game, Ida has returned all of the geometry and is turned back into her crow self. The crow people again become her colorful subjects.
Monument Valley 2 could be a prequel to this game.

Forgotten Shores[]

Ida's Dream[]

Ida's Dream was a stand-alone adventure available upon purchasing Monument Valley. It contains four 'levels' which can be completed in any order. All purchases in this level go to RED, a charity fighting for an AIDS-free generation.
Monument Valley+[]
Monument Valley can be downloaded without the additional $3.99 purchase if the player has a subscription to Apple Arcade. This version is known as Monument Valley+, and also includes the entirety of the Forgotten Shores DLC for free.
Panoramic Edition[]
Monument Valley was released to PC in July of 2022, under the title Monument Valley: Panoramic Edition.
